Is a 31 bed, high care facility caring for the frail aged and those with special care needs requiring 24 hour nursing care and supervision. All accommodation is offered in single private rooms, each affording views of its beautiful garden setting. A number of recreational and lounge areas are located within this heritage building, allowing residents to take part in group activities or to enjoy the privacy and comfort of smaller areas as desired. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room, with items of furniture and personal effects being welcomed on admission and throughout the residents stay. All areas within the facility allow easy wheelchair and disabled access. A large secure garden area surrounds the building allowing residents to freely move within this area without risk of wandering from the facility. The building offers many safety and security features including a sprinkler and back to base fire alarm system, door security with Tabs alarms, hand railing and ramped outside access.
Nursing and personal care is provided by a mix of fully trained and qualified staff, with a registered nurse being on duty at all times. An exciting package of activities and outings are offered to all residents, with individual programs being developed to suit each residents needs.
