Donald Coburn Lodge
Low Care
Low level care places are for people who need some minor assistance. Mostly, people in low level care are ambulant to a degree. Low level care generally focuses on personal care services such as dressing, eating, bathing and medication management, accommodation, support services (cleaning, laundry and meal provision) as well as many allied health services such as physiotherapy.
The Facility
Donald Coburn Lodge is a 64 bed low care facility. Each of the 64 single rooms has an en-suite.
This facility is built in groups of 8 units and provides a separate dining/sitting area for each of these groups.
Other services include respite care [limited], a library, diversional therapy, hair dressing salon and kiosk. This facility is also located on the main Springwood site and is now physically linked to the new nursing home.
