“We Care” is not just a motto printed on our name badges, but a cornerstone of all domains of service. As a volunteer you may like to choose the laundry, kitchen, maintenance, administration, or a more resident focused service with the recreation team run by our Diversional Therapists.

At Buckland we understand that our residents social needs are more than staff, and usually family, can provide therefore volunteers bring very important benefits to our home:  Another friendly face, someone to sit and listen a while, someone to bring a closer connection to the wider community, someone to offer peace of mind when on an outing, or someone to just be there to reinforce “We Care”.

Whatever aspect you choose, we sincerely hope that it proves to be the “heartwarming experience” so many others have felt.
