Covid and RSV Exposure

Dear Residents, Relatives, Staff and Stake Holders,

We would like to provide you with an update as we have covid and Respiratory Syncytial Virus  exposure in facility as of 05/01/2025.

At present, we have:

One resident in DCW has tested positive for covid 19 and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

As a precaution, and in line with infection control measures,

· We kindly Encourage, All visitors to wear surgical mask and complete a RAT test upon arrival. N95 masks are available at reception.

· All staff are required to wear N95 mask whilst in facility as well as completing daily RAT testing upon arrival. Full PPE including face shield is to be worn when attending isolated residents.

We will conduct activities and exercise classes in DCW separately ; however, we encourage residents to observe social distancing where possible.

Meal service will continue as normal, and the affected residents will be encouraged to remain in their rooms and tray service will be provided.

2 step cleaning process has been implemented and Hepa filters have been placed in affected sections of the facility.
