Covid Outbreak Update
Dear Residents, Relatives and Staff,
We would like to provide you with an update on the current status of the facility and outbreak management as of 24 July 2025.
At present, we have:
· 1 resident in isolation who has tested positive for both COVID-19 and parainfluenza. The resident is stable.
· 2 residents who have tested positive for Influenza A. Both are also stable and remain in isolation.
All three cases are located in DCL, which has now been classified as a Red Zone. The TBW, LRW, and MRW wings remain in the Green Zone, with no active cases currently reported in those areas.
As a precaution and in line with infection control measures, we kindly request that:
· All staff continue to wear N95 masks and face shields while on duty in TBW, LRW and MRW. All staff in DCL to be wear full PPE as its in Red Zone. All staff also need to attend RAT testing every 3 days.
· All visitors are encouraged to wear a surgical mask and undertake a RAT test every 3 days.
These measures are essential in helping to reduce the risk of transmission, especially given the presence of multiple respiratory viruses in the wider community.
We also remind everyone to:
· Make use of the hand hygiene stations placed throughout the facility.
· Social distance where possible.
We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the facility on (02) 4752 2500.
Kind Regards,
Buckland Clinical Management team
