Covid Outbreak

Dear Residents, Relatives, Staff, and Stakeholders,
We would like to provide an update regarding a COVID-19 outbreak identified within the facility
Current Situation
- Three residents in MRW have been tested positive for COVID-19.
- The residents are clinically stable and recovering well.
Infection Prevention and Control Measures
As a precaution, and in line with current infection control guidelines, the following measures are in place:
- All visitors are kindly requested to wear a surgical mask while in the facility and to complete a RAT on arrival. N95 masks are available at reception upon request for visitors who prefer to use them.
- All staff are required to wear an N95 mask and face shield while on site and complete daily RAT testing upon arrival.
- Full PPE, including a face shield, must be worn by staff when attending residents in MRW.
Activities and Social Engagement
- Activities and exercise classes in MRW will separate and modified arrangements in place.
- Residents are encouraged social practicing where possible during activities.
Meals and Dining
- Meal services will continue as normal.
- The affected resident will be encouraged to remain in their room and will receive tray service during the isolation period.
Environmental Cleaning
- Enhanced cleaning continues, including a two-step cleaning process with increased focus on high-touch areas.
- HEPA air filtration units have been strategically placed in affected areas of the facility.
