Dear Residents, Relatives and Staff,

***COVID-19 OUTBREAK UPDATE***

Unfortunately, we had a second resident test positive within the 72 hour period of our initial resident testing positive which puts us in a outbreak status, please see below -

MRW and DCL is now classified as Amber Zone. All activities and exercise groups will be conducted separately for both sections.

All staff are required to wear N95 mask and face shield whilst in the facility as well as to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) daily to further mitigate the risk of transmission.

All visitors will also be required to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to entry and are encouraged to wear surgical mask whilst in the facility.

We wish to remind everyone to remain vigilant of any resident/staff member/visitors feeling unwell or displaying flu symptoms and report to RN immediately. Isolation for residents to be commenced, with RAT test and PCR for all pathogens attended.

Staff and visitors that are symptomatic is advised not to enter the facility and attend to PCR testing for all respiratory pathogens.
