Covid-19 Outbreak Update

Dear Residents, Relatives and Staff,

We would like to provide you with an update on the current status of COVID-19 and influenza within our facility.

As of today, the following residents have tested positive or are under observation:

• DCW – Two residents are positive for both COVID-19 and Influenza A. Both are currently stable.
• MRW – One resident is COVID-19 positive, remains symptomatic but stable.
• LRW – Two residents are symptomatic and awaiting PCR results.

Infection Control Measures:

• DCW is currently classified as a Red Zone. Staff are required to wear full PPE when attending to residents.
• MRW remains an Amber Zone.
• TBW and LRW continue to be Green Zones.

Additional Precautions in Place:

• DCW residents will receive meals via tray service.
• Activities are limited to within the respective wings.
• Residents are encouraged to practice social distancing where possible.
• Enhanced two-step cleaning protocols remain in place in DCW, LRW, and MRW.
• HEPA air purifiers are in operation: 2 in DCW and 1 in MRW.
• All staff are required to complete a RAT prior to the start of their shift and are advised not to attend work if experiencing flu-like symptoms.
• All visitors are required to complete a RAT upon entry and are encouraged not to visit if unwell.

We understand that this is a concerning time and wish to assure you that the health and safety of our residents and staff remain our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide further updates should there be any changes.
