DCW Reopening
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. On behalf of Buckland Aged Care Services, we are delighted to extend our warmest greetings and formally invite you to the reopening of the Donald Coburn Wing (DCW).
After undergoing an extensive two-year refurbishment, we are thrilled to present a rejuvenated space that embodies our commitment to provide respectful and dignified care and services that acknowledges the value of each individual.
The reopening of DCW marks a significant milestone in our journey, as we overcame various challenges, including the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many organizations in the healthcare sector, we faced extraordinary circumstances and dedicated ourselves to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and the wider community.
Now, with great pleasure, we invite you to celebrate with us the reopening of DCW on Saturday 3rd June 2023, from 9am to 12pm. A short formal opening will be held at 9am for 15 minutes and guests are free to attend anytime between 9am and 12pm as their commitments allow.
The reopening will include guided tours of the facility, showcasing the state-of-the-art infrastructure and upgraded amenities. Moreover, it will provide an opportunity to meet our dedicated team members, including the executive team and the governing Board of Directors. Light refreshments, a coffee cart and live entertainment will be provided.
We genuinely appreciate your support and the trust throughout the years. Together, let us embark on a new chapter of excellence and dedication in aged care.
As most of DCW is already reoccupied, there will be a limit of 80 attendees to ensure minimal disruption for the new and existing residents.
