Gastroenteritis Outbreak Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

 Gastroenteritis is still very prevalent in our community and we currently to date have 5 residents in isolation with symptoms. All of these residents reside in the DCW Wing and are being well cared for by our amazing staff and are doing well. We also currently have 3 staff members furloughed.

 The DCW Wing Dining Room is closed and all joint activities cancelled in this Wing until we have the outbreak under control.  All activities in the LRW Wing will now recommence as there are no longer any residents in this area with symptoms.

 We please ask that if you are feeling unwell, please stay home to protect our loved ones and friends. Always wash hands thoroughly especially before and after eating.
