Gastroenteritis Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

Cases have continued to decrease over the last couple of weeks and we currently have 2 x Residents with Gastroenteritis symptoms still in isolation at the moment. They are both doing well and being well cared for by our amazing staff.

As per Public Health recommendations and in the best interests of our residents and to ensure we limit the risk of spread, precautions will stay in place until Friday 27th October 2023.

Gastroenteritis is currently going around in our community and is highly contagious. We ask that if any visitors are feeling unwell that they wait until they are feeling better before visiting. To ensure we mitigate the risk of further spread all visitors should regularly wash their hands and apply hand sanitizer, even when taking loved ones out on day trips.
