Influenza Outbreak Closure

Dear Residents, Families, Staff and Stakeholders,

We are pleased to inform you that the Influenza A outbreak at our facility has now been officially closed, as no new cases have been identified over the weekend and all previously affected residents have made a recovery. At this time, no residents remain in isolation.

While the outbreak has ended within our facility, Influenza A activity remains high in the wider community, as reported in the NSW Respiratory Virus Surveillance. As a precautionary measure, staff will continue to wear surgical masks, and we strongly encourage all visitors to also wear a surgical mask while visiting. 

We are pleased to advise that all group activities, dining and meal services have now returned to normal in previously affected areas, allowing residents to resume their usual routines and social interactions.
