Dear Residents, Relatives, Staff, and Stakeholders,

We would like to provide you with an update regarding the current COVID-19 situation at our facility as of 23 October 2025.

At present, two residents in the DCL wing remain in isolation following positive COVID-19 test results. Both residents are stable and recovering well, and no new cases have been detected in the past two Based on the current situation:

  • Red Zone: DCL rooms 25–40, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A
  • Green Zone: DCL rooms 1–24, 1A and 2A, MRW, LRW, and TBW
  •

All activities for the DCL wing will continue to be managed separately, while activities for other wings will proceed as normal. Meal services remain unaffected.

As a precaution, and in line with infection prevention and control protocols:

  • We kindly encourage all visitors and residents to wear a surgical mask and complete a RAT test upon arrival.
    • N95 masks are available at Reception for visitors who prefer to use them.
  • All staff are required to wear N95 masks and face shields while in the facility and to complete RAT testing upon arrival.

These measures are essential to minimise the risk of transmission, particularly given the increased circulation of respiratory viruses in the wider community.

We also remind everyone to:

  • Make use of the hand hygiene stations located throughout the facility.
  • Maintain social distancing where possible.

We sincerely appreciate your continued understanding, patience, and cooperation as we work together to keep our residents and community safe.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the facility on (02) 4752 2500.

Regards,
Buckland Clinical Management Team
