Power Outage Issues

Dear Residents, Relatives, Employees and Friends of Buckland,

I hope this message finds you well. Over the weekend, our area experienced severe storms resulting in widespread power outages across the mid-mountains, lasting up to 24 hours. Thankfully, Buckland's main backup generator enabled us to continue operations seamlessly, ensuring meals and essential services were provided without interruption.

However, the DCW facility faced more significant challenges due to a malfunction with its new backup generator. We are actively addressing this issue and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are grateful of the staff members who were able to respond promptly and assist our residents and team in overcoming the challenges posed by this storm. Their dedication and quick action were invaluable during this time.

At Buckland, we pride ourselves on having robust contingency and risk mitigation plans in place. Your support during this time has been greatly appreciated.
