Resident Re-Direct Mail
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
Over the last few months, it has come to Buckland’s attention that there has been an increase in the amount of incoming mail for our Nursing Home Residents needing to be re-directed. This is beginning to take up a large amount of time for staff each day to sort through and re-direct. This is also becoming quite costly to Buckland as re-direct mail is not covered under the original postage stamp and is required to be paid for again.
We will be introducing a new policy to start effective immediately that any incoming mail that needs to be redirected will be left in the Residents top drawer of their room for a family member or loved one to collect from there.
Alternatively, you can set up a re-direct mail service at any Post Office at any time to ensure that any incoming mail for the resident will automatically be directed to yourself or any other person nominated.
