Buckland Aged Care’s Staff Engagement and Recognition Program

Dear Residents, Families, and Staff,

We are excited to introduce Buckland Aged Care’s new Staff Engagement and Recognition Program, designed to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication and hard work of our employees. Our staff play a crucial role in delivering the highest quality care, and this program aims to enhance morale, engagement, and overall workplace satisfaction.

How the Program Works                                                                            

This initiative includes various recognition opportunities, including:

Employee of the Month: Each month, an outstanding staff member will be selected based on nominations from colleagues, residents, and families. The winner will be announced at our monthly staff meeting.

• Our Values Awards: Quarterly recognition for staff who exemplify Buckland’s core values, including Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism, and Respect for People.

• Length of Service Awards: Acknowledging staff for their years of commitment to Buckland, with certificates and milestone rewards.

• Professional Development Support: Recognition and incentives for employees who complete additional certifications and training.

How You Can Get Involved

We encourage residents, families, and fellow staff members to nominate employees who go above and beyond in their roles. To submit a nomination:

• Fill out a pink compliment form, available at reception or at feedback boxes across the facility.
• Completed forms can be handed in at reception or placed in any of the designated feedback boxes.

• The Employee of the Month for March will be revealed in our April staff meeting.
