Covid-19 Closure

Dear Staff, Residents, Relatives and Friends of Buckland, 

We are pleased to inform you that as of today, Monday the 9th of December 2024 we have no current Covid-19 or respiratory virus cases within in the facility.

Given that there is an increase in respiratory viruses within the community, we are requesting all staff and visitors continue to wear a surgical mask whilst in the facility. We will continue to ask all Staff to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) every three (3) days to further mitigate the risk of transmission. Visitors are not required to attend a Rapid Antigen Test upon entry at this stage, however, please feel free to do so at your own discretion.

To our caring Staff, your hard work and commitment in ensuring the health and safety of our residents has been nothing short of exceptional. Your unwavering adaptability, and tireless efforts have made all the difference.

To our lovely Residents, we deeply appreciate your cooperation and understanding, your ability to stay positive and follow the necessary precautions has helped us move forward in closing this outbreak so soon.

Finally, to our lovely Visitors, thank you for your continued support and understanding as we adjusted our protocols to keep your loved ones safe. Your compliance and kindness has further impacted in such a positive way and we very much appreciative of this.
