Dear Residents, Relatives and Staff,

We wish to let you know that the COVID-19 Exposure has now closed as of today.

Our only resident who was positive to Covid-19 has been removed from isolation today and has recovered well. There are now no active cases of Covid-19 within the facility.

A round of Rapid Antigen testing was conducted last Saturday, 12/04/2025 in the Donald Coburn Wing and all residents returned a negative result.

All activities and exercise classes will be returning to normal throughout the facility starting today. We continue to encourage ventilation and social distancing for residents as well as hand hygiene and encourage our residents to use the outdoor areas where possible.

All staff and visitors will still be required to wear surgical mask whilst in the facility in anticipation for the number of visitors coming into the facility for the Easter long weekend. However, 2nd daily Rapid Antigen testing for staff will cease as of today.

Furthermore, ask everyone to practice safe hygiene practices such as regularly washing your hands and making use of the hand sanitizers around the facility.

As always, we ask that any staff or visitors that are feeling unwell or have any cold or flu symptoms please do not enter the facility until they are feeling better. Any staff that develop symptoms must complete a PCR Test.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us on (02) 4752 2500.

Warm Regards

Buckland Clinical Management team
