Covid-19 & Influenza Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

After reviewing recent infection surveillance reporting from NSW Health, it states that Covid-19 is increasing but still remaining at moderate levels. It also states that Influenza remains at moderate levels and RSV is at low levels and they are both slowly decreasing.

We currently have 2 staff furloughed due to Covid-19 infection. With this being said we will now be asking that all staff and visitors in the Nursing Home wear a Surgical Mask at all times. Surgical Masks will be placed outside the Nursing Home Reception. We also please ask that you regularly wash your hands and social distance where possible.

If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms please stay home until you are feeling better to protect your loved ones and our staff.
