COVID-19 Outbreak: Update
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
I am pleased to advise that we now have received five consecutive days of negative test results for all residents.
As you are aware, we have daily meetings with the Department of Health. The Department advised us that subject to seven consecutive days of negative test results for all staff and residents, we would be able to commence the “Buckland Road map to recovery” with the aim to return to pre-lockdown operations.
The roadmap would see us undergo a full set of additional tests on the 24th as well as on the 27th of September. If all results of both the above dates would come back as negative, we would be able to remove the isolation of residents from rooms.
Residents would still need to continue to cohort within their wing for an additional 14 days before lifting all lockdown restrictions.
We are hopeful that all outstanding test results will come back negative and we can commence the journey to pre lockdown conditions.
If you have any questions and or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 4752 2500.
