Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

After review of Infection Surveillance reporting that COVID-19 and Influenza activity still remain low we have decided that all visitors and staff we no longer be required to wear a surgical mask whilst in the facility. We will continue to monitor community transmission via the NSW Respiratory Surveillance Summary fortnightly and adjust our mask requirements as needed.

With this being said, respiratory syncytial virus activity still remains at high levels so we ask that you all please continue to complete the health screening by checking your temperature on arrival and maintain social distancing were possible. A reminder to also thoroughly wash your hands and sanitize, especially after eating meals and to utilise our outside areas when visiting if you like.

If you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms, we ask that you please don’t enter the facility to help us keep our residents and staff safe and prevent any future outbreaks.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us via reception on (02) 4752 2500.

Kind Regards,

Johannes Brockhaus

Chief Executive Officer
