COVID-19 Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We would like to inform you that unfortunately we now have two residents in the nursing home that have tested positive for Covid-19.

To minimise the risk of further spread all visitors will now be required to wear N95 masks whilst in the nursing home at all times and continue to complete their temperature check when entering the nursing home.

Dining room service in LRW will cease and there will only be tray service until all residents are PCR tested which will be taking place tomorrow 17th May 2024.

If residents wish to exit their rooms, we advise them to inform a staff member and highly recommend that the resident wears a N95 mask also.

If you are feeling unwell or have cold and flu symptoms, please stay home to protect our residents and staff. Continue to regularly wash your hands, especially after meals and remember to social distance where possible, make use of outdoor areas if it’s a lovely day.
