Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We are happy to report to you that all PCR and RAT testing that was performed over the weekend in the nursing home returned a negative result. This is a fantastic result and we would like to thank you all for abiding by our strict hygiene policy to get this result.

We will continue with current precautions and still ask that all visitors and staff continue to wear N95 masks whilst in the facility at all times. Please also complete your temperature check upon entry into the nursing home.

NSW Health have advised that Covid-19 has increased to moderate levels. The 2024 influenza season has started and is expected to increase rapidly over the next 6 to 8 weeks. RSV also continues to remain at high levels.

If you are feeling unwell or have cold and flu symptoms, please stay home to protect our residents and staff. Continue to regularly wash your hands, especially after meals and remember to social distance where possible, make use of outdoor areas if it’s a lovely day.

We will continue to provide updates as they occur. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation at this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us on (02) 4752 2500.

Warm Regards,

Melinda Junge

Facility Manager
