Covid-19 Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We are excited to inform you that as of today Friday 24th May 2024 the Covid-19 Outbreak is now over in our facility.

Dining room service in LRW will now resume back to normal.

The latest NSW Health update has advised that Covid-19 remains at a moderate level, Influenza is at a low to moderate level and RSV remains at high levels within community.

As a precaution we continue to ask that all visitors and staff wear a N95 mask at all times whilst in the nursing home and also continue to complete the health screening upon entry into the facility. Please also continue to regularly wash your hands and sanitize, especially after meals. Also remember to social distance where possible.

If you have any cold and flu like symptoms please stay home and do not enter the facility to help keep our residents and staff safe.

We would like to thank all visitors and staff for their co-operation in abiding by our strict hygiene protocols to get this outbreak under control and ensure that there was no further spread.
