Covid-19 Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We would like to inform you that we have four residents in the Thomas Buckland Wing who are Covid-19 Positive. They are all currently in isolation and are clinically well.

We will be completing a round of Rapid Antigen Testing as well as PCR testing to all residents in the Thomas Buckland Wing today Friday 14th June 2024.

Staff and visitors are still required to wear the N95 Masks and must keep it on at all times, masks must not be taken off until you have exited the facility. Continue to complete the health screening test on arrival into the nursing home as well as complete a Rapid Antigen Test every three days before entering the facility. Please only enter the facility via the main reception and not the loading dock or other entries as health screening is a requirement.

If you are feeling unwell or have any cold and flu symptoms please stay home and do not enter the facility. Please also remember to wash your hands regularly, especially after eating, make use of the hand sanitizers throughout the facility and social distance where possible to help keep our residents and staff safe.
