Covid-19 Update

17 Jun 2024

Dear Relatives & Friends of Buckland,

We are pleased to inform you that all Rapid Antigen Testing over the weekend returned a negative result which is fantastic news.

As of Monday 17th June 2024, we only have two residents still in isolation with Covid-19 in the Thomas Buckland Wing. Both residents are doing very well and are clinically stable. A round of Rapid Antigen Testing will be completed again around the Thomas Buckland Wing on Wednesday 19th June 2024.

As a precaution we will continue to ask that all visitors must wear a N95 mask at all times whilst in the nursing home. You will not be required to complete a Rapid Antigen Test but we do ask that you please complete your temperature check when entering the facility.

All staff will still be required to wear N95 masks whilst in the nursing home at all times.

If you are feeling unwell or have cold and flu symptoms, please stay home to protect our residents and staff. Continue to regularly wash your hands, especially after meals and remember to social distance where possible, make use of outdoor areas if it’s a lovely day.

We will continue to provide updates as they occur. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation at this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us on (02) 4752 2500.

Warm Regards,

Melinda Junge
