Covid-19 Update

Dear Residents, Staff and Representatives,

We are pleased to inform you that the Covid-19 Outbreak is now closed. The facility only has 1 active case of Rhinovirus in our Donald Coburn Wing and that resident remains in isolation.

Although the outbreak is over, we would still like to remain vigilant, all staff must continue to wear N95 masks whilst in the facility and continue to complete a Rapid Antigen Test prior to entering the facility.

All visitors will still be required to wear a surgical mask at all times within the facility but are no longer asked to complete a Rapid Antigen Test.

Please continue to wash your hands regularly especially after meals and make use of hand santizers that are placed throughout the facility. We ask that any staff or visitors that are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms to please not enter the facility.

We would like to thank all staff, relatives and friends of Buckland for their compliance to our strict hygiene practices to get this Covid-19 Outbreak under control.
