Covid-19 Update

Dear Residents, Relatives and Staff,

We would like to provide you with an update on the current status of the facility and outbreak management as of 24 September 2025.

At present, we have:

• 4 residents in isolation in LRW who have tested positive for COVID 19. All residents are stable and recovering well.
• 1 resident in LRW who has tested positive for HMPV and Rhino Virus.
• 2 residents presenting with flu-like symptoms, with PCR test results currently pending in DCW Wing.

Based on the current situation:

• LRW has been classified as Red Zone
• DCW, MRW and TBW classified as Green Zone.

All activities for the LRW wing will remain separate, while activities for other wings will continue as normal.

As a precaution, and in line with infection control measures,

• We kindly encourage all visitors and residents to wear a surgical mask and complete a RAT test upon arrival. N95 masks are available at reception on request for visitors who prefer to use them.
• All Staff must continue to wear a N95 mask and face shield while in facility and complete RAT testing upon arriving.

These measures are essential in helping to reduce the risk of transmission, particularly given the presence of multiple respiratory viruses in the wider community.

We also remind everyone to:

• Make use of the hand hygiene stations placed throughout the facility. ·
• Maintain social distancing where possible.
