COVID-19 Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We are happy to inform you that over the last couple of days we have had no further COVID-19 positive cases. We currently have four positive residents still remain in isolation and are doing well.

To continue keeping our residents and staff safe, daily rapid antigen testing will still be mandatory for all staff and visitors as well as wearing an N95 mask at all times whilst in the nursing home. Our residents and staff’s well-being is our highest priority, so we ask that you please adhere to these safety measures to minimise the risk of further spread. We will continue with our scheduled testing regime as advised by Public Health Unit.

The DCW entrance will remain closed and we ask that all visitors use the main entrance of the nursing home.

It is recommended that residents wear masks inside the facility for added safety, although it is not compulsory.
