COVID-19 Update
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
We are very pleased to advise that given the community transmission of late with Covid-19 and other respiratory viruses we at Buckland have managed to keep positive cases to a very minimal number over the last couple of months and currently have no positive cases within our nursing home.
Therefore, the decision has been made that starting from Saturday 9th March all staff and visitors can now downgrade to a surgical mask whilst in the nursing home at all times, N95 masks will no longer be required.
Rapid Antigen Testing will still be compulsory for all staff and visitors until NSW Infection Control Respiratory Monitoring is downgraded from moderate to low community activity. Please complete a test outside reception prior to entering the building.
Please continue to wash your hands regularly, especially after eating, make use of the hand sanitizers throughout the facility and social distance where possible to help keep our residents and staff safe.
I would like to thank all staff and visitors for their patience and adhering to our strict infection control measures.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us on (02) 4752 2500.
Warmest Regards,
Johannes Brockhaus
Chief Executive Officer
