Current Visitation Conditions
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
I hope you are all safe, well and enjoying some very missed sunshine after all that crazy rain.
I would like to take this opportunity to provide some clarity on Buckland’s current visitation conditions, currently 2 visitors per day per resident is permitted. In addition to this, the following are also permitted
- Residents are permitted to have up 2 children under 12years to visit providing they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
- We also encourage masks to be worn by visitors 3 years old to 12 years. However, visitors 3 years and under should not wear masks as it is a choking hazard.
- Rapid antigen tests are still required to be performed on site before entry.
N95 masks are still to be worn by visitors 12years and up as this remains as a condition of entry to Buckland.
Furthermore, visitation is still to be conducted in the resident’s room and not in common areas of the facility as it is a preventative measure to reduce the possibility of the widespread of an outbreak.
Thank you all for understanding as we navigate this time together.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me via the Nursing Home reception on (02) 4752 2500. Stay safe and well.
