Extension of COVID-19 Lockdown Period
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
As you are aware of the announcement made this morning from the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, that there is yet another lockdown extension in Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains and other parts of the state until the end of September 2021 effective as of 12.01am Monday, 23 August 2021.
Due to these restrictions and the severity of the Delta Strain, Buckland will also remain in lockdown until the end of September. This decision has been made with the best interest of our residents in mind.
We would like to remind you all that we will continue to proceed with the Skype calls, Zoom Meetings, WhatsApp and all other message medias that will allow you to remain in contact with your loved ones.
We understand that this is a very difficult time and we want to thank you all for your patience and understanding as we do our best to comply with the health advice and to keep our residents safe and well.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the coronavirus, please don’t hesitate to contact Lisa Murray, our COVID-19 Marshall and Infection Control Lead on 0402 667 443 or you can contact myself via the Nursing Home on 4752 2500.
