Gastroenteritis & Covid-19 Update

Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

We are pleased to inform you that it has now been 7 days straight without any new residents or staff experiencing Gastroenteritis symptoms. As per local public health guidance, restrictions in place for residents and staff of Bucklands may now be removed as of 11:59pm on 8th November 2023.

However, due to Covid-19 cases increasing in the community, all visitors and staff must still continue to wear N95 face masks whilst in the Nursing Home. Our resident’s health and safety is our highest priority and we believe that continuing to take this extra measure will help minimise the risk of spread.

If you are feeling unwell or have any cold and fly symptoms please stay home and do not visit the Nursing Home until you are feeling better. Please also continue to regularly wash and sanitize your hands and to social distance where possible. 

We would like to thank all staff, residents and relatives for their understanding and patience during this period.
