Lockdown until 27th August 2021
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
As a result of the NSW Premier’s announcement this morning of the extension of Sydney’s lockdown period, Buckland will also remain in lockdown until Friday 27th August 2021. It is with a very heavy heart that we have had to make this decision but we remind you that it is in the best interest our all our residents and staff to keep them safe and healthy.
Once again, we remind you that window visits and all other forms of message medias will continue to take place throughout the lockdown period. As you know, if you would like to book a window visit or skype with your loved one, please contact reception on 4752 2500 and they will transfer you to one of our Diversional Therapists to organize a schedule with you.
There is without a doubt that COVID-19 is having a very big impact that is being felt by all of you. We understand just how difficult and frustrating it must me to not have the usual freedom to come and leave as you wish. Hence, we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we keep the safety of our residents as our highest priority.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the coronavirus, please don’t hesitate to contact Lisa Murray, our COVID-19 Marshall and Infection Control Lead on 0402 667 443 or you can contact myself via the Nursing Home on 4752 2500.
