NSW COVID-19 Road Map Update
8th October 2021
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
We hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to lifted restrictions taking place on the 11th of October. As of today, we have not yet been provided with any further information, neither has the public health order been published at this stage.
To provide more clarification in relation to the letter sent yesterday, residents will be able to leave the facility for any reason such as social, exercise or medical under the current NSW roadmap guidelines in place for Monday the 11th of October. Referring to the current NSW roadmap guidelines, residents that are fully vaccinated may be able to gather outdoors up to a capacity of 30 people and visit a household up to a capacity of 10 people. These details will need to be provided to the Registered Nurse (RN) completing the outing risk assessment to enable the RN to conduct a concise assessment.
At this point in time, residents that leave the facility will be subject to a 7-day isolation post return and will be swabbed on the 5th day, this is unless the public health order that is yet to be released states otherwise. If your loved one received the vaccine here at the clinic held at Buckland, we are able to provide evidence of the vaccination from their consent form, however this is not a COVID certificate which can be obtained via My Gov.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or Virginia Mitchell, our Facility Manager on (02) 4752 2500.
Please stay safe and well.
