NSW Health Advice Update
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
We hope you have all been keeping warm and safe as we continue through the winter months. Unfortunately, with recent advice from the Department of Health, we have to cancel large activities within the facility. However, small activities will continue to take place with the correct infection control procedures at practice.
We have been further advised that these same rules will be applied to residents of RACF as they are also within our community.
To compensate for this, we will be opening up more times for window visits and skype calls to ensure you can remain in contact with your loved ones. Additionally, we will continue to encourage all other forms of message medias such as WhatsApp, letters and phone calls.
We know that this is a very difficult time for you all and we want to thank you all for your patience and understanding as we do our best to comply with all health advice.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the coronavirus, please don’t hesitate to contact Lisa Murray, our COVID-19 Marshall and Infection Control Lead on 0402 667 443 or you can contact myself via the Nursing Home on 4752 2500.
