Rapid Antigen Testing
Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,
Commencing tomorrow at 9am, we will require all visitors to produce a negative Rapid antigen test within 24 hours upon entering the facility.
Our ultimate goal and highest priority are our resident’s health and safety. Therefore, this procedure will assist in ensuring that we are doing our best to protect them as they are a highly vulnerable population.
As you all know, in the last 72 hours, there have been over 7,000 new cases of COVID-19 in NSW. The Rapid Antigen testing will add an additional layer of protection, especially before Christmas and the New Year. Due to this, we strongly discourage visitations during this time to ensure that the facility remains safe.
The Rapid tests are accessible in most chemists and pharmacies. Thank you all for your cooperation and understanding.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me via the nursing home reception on (02) 4752 2500.
