Rhinovirus Update

Dear Residents, Relatives, Employees and Friends of Buckland,

Unfortunately, over the weekend we have had three residents on the Matron Rothey Wing return a positive swab for Rhinovirus. These residents have been placed into isolation and are being well looked after by our nursing staff.

We are encouraging residents that reside in this wing to please stay within it and utilise the outdoor areas. Activities and exercises for residents in the Matron Rothery Wing will all be completed on the wing only.

All staff and visitors entering this wing now must wear surgical masks and please utilise the hand sanitizers located around the wing as well as the rest of the facility.

As always, we ask that any staff or visitors that are feeling unwell or have any cold or flu symptoms please do not enter the facility until they are feeling better. Any staff that develop symptoms must complete a PCR Test.
