Dear Relatives and Friends of Buckland,

As a response to the current increasing cases and threats of COVID-19 around Sydney, the Government has made the precautionary decision to place The City of Sydney, Woollahra, Waverly and Randwick into lockdown effective 11:59pm tonight until 11:59pm Friday 2nd of July 2021.

Aged people are especially vulnerable to the virus. Therefore, to ensure that our residents are not exposed to the current threat of the Coronavirus, we stress that you stay clear of these areas and their surrounding suburbs. If you have been to either of these locations or to any of the other close or contact location in NSW, please refrain from entering Buckland, self-isolate for 14 days and wait for your COVID-19 result.

With this being said, it is vital to ensure that you are practicing good hygiene, such as correctly washing your hands, social distancing, mask wearing and understanding the limits that apply to essential and non-essential public gatherings. These steps are crucial to ensure the safety for not only yourself, but your loved ones.

As you know, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Lisa Murray, our COVID-19 Marshall and Infection Control Lead on 0402 667 443, or you can contact myself via reception on 4752 2500.

Warm regards,

Virginia Mitchell
