Visitor Restrictions Update
Dear Residents
I am pleased to advise that the numbers of positive Residents continue to decrease. As of today, we have 27 active cases remaining with 4 new cases in the last 24 hours and 13 due out of isolation tomorrow, 2 September 2023.
The visitor restrictions will remain in place until Monday 4 September, however Friends and Family members that regularly attend the facility to provide care and support to you and your fellow Residents are excluded from these restrictions. All visitors are required to wear a full set of personal protective equipment and RAT Test. Please note you are also able to meet family and friends outside of the facility, but we recommend practicing social distancing and to wear a mask.
As previously noted, it is safest to remain in your room and practice social distancing when engaging with other Residents and staff, however we will not enforce this as a requirement as we recognise the emotional and psychosocial impact this can have on your wellbeing.
It is important to note that the vast majority of Residents display no symptoms, and all Residents are clinically stable. We will continue to provide updates on the current situation and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.
From today, dining room 1 in DCW will be re-occupied with completion of the works on the roof.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak to any of our staff or contact us on (02) 4752 2500
Warm Regards,
Johannes Brockhaus
Chief Executive Officer
